Manufacturing Academy returns with its ninth edition in 2026, presented as a Machining Workshop Series in collaboration with IMAJIN, featuring an in-depth session themed “Reducing Mold Design Iteration & Improving Surface Accuracy.”
This workshop is designed for industry professionals, tooling engineers, mold designers, manufacturing engineers, production managers, and decision-makers who aim to enhance machining precision, reduce development cycles, and improve overall product quality in mold manufacturing processes.
The live workshop will be conducted on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, as part of the Pre-Event Series leading up to Manufacturing Surabaya and the Manufacturing Indonesia Series 2026, connecting industry players ahead of Indonesia’s leading manufacturing exhibitions.
The session will explore practical strategies to reduce mold design iterations through optimized workflows, simulation-driven design, and precision machining techniques. Participants will also gain insights into improving surface accuracy through advanced machining practices, toolpath optimization, and best practices in mold finishing processes.
Through this workshop, participants will gain actionable knowledge on how digital design integration and modern machining approaches can significantly improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in mold manufacturing, supporting the industry’s shift toward higher precision and faster turnaround times.
